Where good news shines

The Denver lacrosse program will begin a potential NCAA title march against the Big 10 champion.

The fifth-seeded Pioneers host the Michigan Wolverines in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 3 p.m. Saturday at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. 

The Denver-Michigan winner will face the Syracuse-Towson winner in the quarterfinals.

Michigan is coming off a Big Ten tournament title.

DU is making its 13th NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2021. It's the first matchup between Denver (11-3 overall, 5-0 Big East) and Michigan (10-6, 2-3 Big Ten) since 2013.
